Rayo Rumi – Sacred Petroglyph
This highly important and sacred attraction, located in the Kichwa Community of 9 de Junio, features a massive rock split in half by lightning, with a pristine river flowing right through it. Rayo Rumi is also an ideal spot for tourists to camp and connect deeply with nature.
Known locally as the «Shaman’s Rock,» this picturesque Kichwa village sits beautifully at the transition point between untouched nature and urban influence.
Standing right in the center of this sacred stone, you can easily feel and absorb the powerful energy emanating from the rock.
