GENERAL POLICIES
- Every guest must be registered upon check-in.
- The maximum capacity for each room is 2 adults.
- Rates do not include taxes (VAT) unless expressly stated otherwise.
- Check-in is from 2:00 PM and check-out is until 12:00 PM.
- Early check-in: subject to availability, between 7:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
- Late check-out: subject to availability, between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
- To extend the stay, guests must give 24 hours’ notice; acceptance is subject to hotel availability.
- The hotel is not liable for personal losses incurred in the rooms or facilities.
- The use of shoes inside the rooms is prohibited.
- Consuming prohibited substances or smoking inside the rooms is restricted.
- Any damage caused by guests to hotel property will be charged to the client.
- Management reserves the right to terminate the lodging contract if any regulation is breached.
RESERVATION AND PAYMENT PROCEDURES
- To guarantee a direct booking, a deposit equal to 100% of the total reservation value is required.
- For travel agencies or tour operators, full payment must be made 30 days prior to check-in.
- The deposit to hold the booking will be credited to the hotel’s accounts as a 100% total value guarantee.
- The reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of payment and confirmation from Cacao Glamping by Galapagos Center Expeditions.
- Guests’ personal data must be provided per applicable regulations, including nationality, age, gender, full names, check-in/out dates, and ID number.
RESERVATIONS MADE 90 DAYS OR MORE IN ADVANCE
- A deposit equal to 50% of the total booking value must be made within 8 calendar days after the request.
- The remaining balance must be paid 45 days before the tour start date.
- The reservation is confirmed only once the payment is received according to the established conditions.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- 90 days or more before the departure date: 80% refund of the amount paid.
- Between 60 and 45 days before the departure date: 50% refund of the amount paid.
- Less than 30 days before the departure date: no refunds apply for tourist or transport services; NO SHOW applies.
CANCELLATIONS DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS OR NATURAL DISASTERS
- In case of cancellation due to weather or natural disasters, only a date modification option is offered.
- This modification incurs no additional fee or penalty.
- It remains subject to hotel availability and current rates for the new dates.
PAYMENT METHODS
- Bank transfer.
- Bank account deposit.
- Credit card (subject to additional tax).
HIGH DEMAND SEASONS
- During high demand, high occupancy, or limited availability seasons, Cacao Glamping reserves the right to request full payment upon confirmation.
- This measure guarantees the booked spaces and services.
MODIFICATIONS TO THE CONDITIONS
- Cacao Glamping reserves the right to modify its reservation, payment, and cancellation policies.
- Any applicable modification to a booking will be communicated at confirmation or when appropriate.
TOUR LEADER DISCOUNT
- Cacao Glamping offers benefits and preferential rates for Tour Leaders, subject to program conditions and group size.
